CREATIVITY WITH A PROFIT
The Art of Creating a Profitable Photography Business
Rich Breshears M.Photog, CPP & Mary Ann Breshears
Most Photographers become professionals for the love of the craft. We’ve carried our cameras to friends weddings, our kid’s sporting events, and even on dates with our prospective spouses. Some of us worked our way through the ranks of professional art schools. Others just heard from enough people that we had “the eye” and should charge for our images. The one frustration for us all, is how to turn our photography into a business that pays our bills, puts our kids through college and funds our retirements.
Rich and Mary Ann Breshears own and operate Breshears Professional Photography in Kennewick, Washington. They and their talented four person staff create beautiful heirloom portraits for some of their region’s most prestigious families. The secret to their success has been good mentorship from photographers of yesteryear, mixed with marketing and sales skills that they are more than happy to pass on to you.
Be prepared for a fast paced afternoon, filled with lots of laughter, maybe some tears, and a whole lot of useful techniques that any photographer can use to build their business into a 6 figure income or more Things to be discussed will include pre-consultations, in session hacks, preparing for a great sale, phone and in-person sales techniques that make clients thank you, and marketing ideas that are proven to work.
