Albion 2019 Fall Event

Registration

  • For PPI and surrounding state association members only. Bring a 1st time visitor for free, split the cost if you like! Fee includes lodging, meals and access to all events for the weekend! Think of it as photography camp!
  • Registration for one Lifetime Member, fee includes lodging, meals and access to all events for the weekend!
  • Open to all who love photography, for the same price, bring a friend who is a 1st time visitor to a PPI event! Fee includes lodging, food and all events for the weekend! Think of it as photography camp!
  • Single registration - per student. Fee includes lodging, meals and access to all events. Students must provide the name of the school and their instructor's name to be eligible for the student rate.

We'll have the Albion Normal School available to us for the weekend of fun filled, action packed photographic events that will appeal to photographers of all skill levels!  Admission to this event includes lodging, meals and access to all events.  Membership rates are available for our neighboring PPA affiliates, please contact us for details...and by all means, join us!

Astrophotography - Jonathan Mills

Head out to the City of Rocks where Jonathan will take us on an incredible journey of how to photograph the Milky Way.  It's truly and amazing experience to see the Milky Way appear on your camera screen!  Learn all the ins and outs of Astrophotography!


Scenery Photography - Kim Critchfield

Go out and do what Kim laughingly calls "Cruising for Snaps"! Starting at City of Rock at dawn, you'll make your way back toward Albion capturing all the amazing sites that country provides!  Kim says, "We'll discuss exposure, composition, simplicity, border patrol, and eye snags, while photographing. I promise, it's going to be fun!"


The Quality of Light - Bart Cepek

A combination of both classroom and hands-on instruction covering lighting basics, choice and use of modifiers, reverse engineering lighting setups and finally some practice time with models to apply what you've learned.



The Senior Experience - Sam Marvin

Join Samuel Marvin for an in-depth look at how he distinguishes himself with “The Experience” Sam will share a detailed course on how to create the best senior experience for your seniors that will have them telling all of their friends about how great it was. From booking to install every touchpoint is vital in creating the richest experience for your clients that will make you stand out.


The Freakshow Shootout!

A unique, hands on shooting experience using models made up as Zombies in one of Albion's very creepy dorms.  Lighting options available, or bring your own portable lights for an evening of fun and unbridled creativity!
