The purpose of the Fellowship Program is to encourage and strengthen the involvement, leadership, and participation of members withing the PP of Idaho. It is only a PP of Idaho function and will affect only it’s members. There will be two categories: “Idaho Fellow of Photogtaphy” and “Idaho Fellow of Photographic Service.” It is designed to encourage the photographer and the non-photographer in sercive and participation of the PP of Idaho.
The Idaho Fellow of Photography can be obtained by print merits alone or with a combination of print and service merits. The merit requirements are for the Idaho Fellow of Photography are 13 print merits and 12 service merits or 25 print merits. There is a limit of 8 print merits year.
The Idaho Fellow of Photographic Service is for those non-camera persons who are technicians in the various arts of photography, such as colorists, managers, retouchers, sales specialists and those who provide leadership and service to the PP of Idaho. The merit requirements for the Idaho Fellow of Photographic Service are 25 service merits. There is not a limit on the number of service merits that may be awarded in a year.
Proof of Fellowship Merits shall be the sole responsibility of the participant who can show proof of certificates of merit. Fellowship categories will be awarded according to the Fellowship Chairman and the applicant form. Verification of merits must be submitted to the Fellowship Chairman 30 days prior to the Annual Convention. Merits and Fellowships will be awarded to members of PP of Idaho in good standing.
In order to be eligible for either the Idaho Fellow of Photography or the Idaho Fellow of Photographic Service, a Notification of Intent must be filed with the Fellowship Chairman.
Print merits are received by the Fellowship Chairman after the Annual Convention. You will need to report your service merits to the Fellowship Chairman by using the Merit Notification form.
